i need some help my engine blew up and i havent had a car for almost 4 months because i cant find an engine i have a 2000 chevy cavalier Z24 with the 2.4l twin cam and i was wondering if i can just swap out the 2.4l for a 2.2 ecotec and if it will work with my tranny and engine mounts and what all i would have to do to swap the engines out... if someone could get back to me ASAP that would be awsome thanks...........Cody
Wrong forum. It can be done, but requires another transmission, engine wiring, and ECU, hoses, radiator.
