i am wondering what the egr looks like and where it is located on the 03 cavalier...the motor that i am getting has the egr..and i want to make sure that the motor i have has it on there to...also should a motor from an auto go right into a stick..i assume so

there isn't one on the Eco's.

how come when you put in to search for an 03 cavy...it comes up with the option there on that site?? i want to make sure i get the right motor

its a generic parts listing. if you scroll down it also has an option for turbo/supercharger which u should know ours cars didnt come with factory.

in 03 the only motor was the ecotec. the ecotec never came with an egr valve in the country (it did/does in europe) except for very very early saturn L100's.
