Hey guys,

What im looking at is what do u guys use to clean up the ecos. I know what to use im just open up to other tips n tricks to try. Main idea is i want to get rid of the oxi look the aluminum gets. Id like to doo the whole thing while its out. But if u were cleaning one up and making it look better what would u do to it? Examples-- Polish/paint etc. Please im looking to get cracking on one next week and would like to make it look nicer then the oxi look it currently has. More then welcome to post pics of what u would do or what u have done. I need some help getting set on one idea im all over the place yet hard to make a decision as to what with out seeing it accually. Any help would be Great and I thank u to those who help.

just polish it. wetsanding it takes a little bit of time but after that just polish it with mother's own and i think it really cleans up the look. all i did was use an engine degreaser, wetsand, and polish it. simple and clean.

some of the painted one's look pretty good but i really think a polished valve cover pulls it off nicely.

my ecu is actually in the cabin i disconnected it and ran the wires through the rhino ass... and to polish the aluminum it is time consuming but IMO looks great when done you can search on google and you will find hundreds of how to's.

I like using steel wool for all my polishing needs, but thats just me, and of course once its polished nice, neverdull is a good product. Once its warmer than a well diggers dick I'll most likley be polishing mine and painting the flutes black.

afaik, the fpr, would be located on the right side end of the fuel rail. where the vaccum line goes into the rail.
