I've noticed that Intakes for a 97 2.2L is a lot more $ My question is can I swap my intake with a 98 intake? If so would I need a new throttle cable etc...
the intake manifolds in the engine themselves are different and the 98 plus has a plastic intake manifold with the throttle body down further on the engine compartment, also the 98+ has top feed injectors. the 97- has the throttle body on the top of the engine , an aluminum intake manifold, and the injectors are side feed on the intake manifold
