5 speeds aren't hard to come by in the 95-99 'verts... it's the 2000 model year that the 5 speed was hard to find.

And that car is ratbagged... the top's done, so are the seals. That's at least a $1000 repair in new parts alone, IF you can fix it yourself. Not worth more than the $400 it's currently at, sadly..

the top doesnt look to be in too bad of shape, just faded mainly. the seals def need replaced, but with the aftermarket finally coming around you can get a new main seal for $250ish. other than that it could use a good cleaning (tan interior and convertibles do NOT go together) and would make a good DD.

its listed as an auto though. i wondered if that was something ebay pulled from the VIN or if it was entered manually. and i had to double check the pics myself since the fire autos come with the fake boots anyway.

I would grab it just for the transmission, and body panels lol. Too bad its in Baltimore and around here finding a 5speed in any vert is pretty hard. I know I looked and settled for my 00 bc of the interior lol

yeah i know...i just had to look twice since i read auto in the description first. i was just saying that so tinkles would know why the other guy said it was an auto.

mike: its only about an 11-12 hour drive, max. since its driveable you could do it in one day or make a weekend out of it. def worth it considering how hard it is to find decent verts, much less 2.4 mannies.

Yeah I thought about it, but the money just isnt there right now. If I had it I would litereally be all over it. But, then again, it would be my luck I would be driving her home, and the damn thing would crap a rod bearing lol.

Yeah thats the same thing I said. But then again, they can last forever if taken care of.

And the kicker is, I am not sitting at work, with a little over 500 cash in my wallet to do with whatever I want, and the car is gone lol. Meh, oh well I guess ill finally buy my Xbox 360, and my son a DS for his birthday Oh and before anyone says anything, he already has a 360, im just getting one for me lol

Yeah I thought about it, but meh, I bought the xbox, and im planning on modding the vert when my taxes come around. But im not sure which way I wanna go. I also noticed the back glass starting to come loose on the passenger side from the top, so I had a FML moment. Oh well. Im wating till my fiancee gets her money, and Im going to ask her gor 1000 to buy the SC kit for my car Other then that, I gotta keep it as close to DD as possible lol Plus, I bought my son another DS and I know just that look on his face he will have when I give it to him means 100 times more to me then anything I could ever do to my car.

Simple fix:

1. Purchase donor coupe
2. Swap roof to vert
3. make targa top.
4. win
