I know this is going to sound crazy but what would I need to put a 2000, 2200 (LN2) In A 1998 Sunfire GT 5 speed? I know the trans bell housings are different but, what about the wiring, computer and the likes?

After I posted this I thought to just look up a LN2--->LD9 swap! Then just read it backwards!!!

but to make that combination run, you're crossing the 2000 line. it would be the same amount of work as would swapping an eco into your car.

no it wouldn't a 2000 LN2 is the same as a 98
you have a 98 car get a 98 2200 trans your shifter inkage shafts and mounts will all be the same trans is done
lower engine mount is the same as 2.4 the upper i believe you just have to change the bracket that stick out that bolts to the motor
then get 98 2200 wiring harness for 5spd and PCM plug it all in your done
should be a days work if you work on it constant

i want to put my jeep's V8 in my cav... if it fits snug enough you dont need motor mounts right? LMAO
