Does anyone know if the bracket that the 2.2/2200 ICM and coils mounts to plays any role in grounding the whole unit? Seeing how the brackets is mounted directly to the motor on the stock setup, part of me thinks yes.
I have my ICM/coils mounted with the stock bracket right to the strut tower, and would like to wrap the bracket in carbon so it isn't such an eyesore.
Thanks in advance
yes the bracket plays a role in grounding
Yes it does. If it's not grounded it won't fire. Also if it's vibrating from being loose it will misfire really bad. Found this out on my 3400.

^. One of the reasons my 3100 corsica was mis-firing like a bish the last few weeks. Stands to reason the 2200 ICM would work the same.
