Today my brother was driving home his 2200 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, he said the engine started making a popping noise and the no trac light came on. When I arrived to where he was I popped his hood and noticed that the spark plug ( 2nd from the right ) was out of the hole but still in the plug. I tried to reinstall the plug but the plug keeps spinning so it won't ever tighten. Whats going on what keeps making the plug pop out and why wont it tighten into the hole... The plug is wore slap out though.... any ideas fellas?

Threads are stripped, happens all the time when switch plugs and ones you take out never had anti seize on them, go buy heli coil for thread size of plug and drill, tap, and install heli coil and finally plug than it will be fixed, make sure to put red loctite on the heli coil before installing in head to prevent it from coming out over time
