so my 05 cav 2.2 eco with 5 speed i THINK it has a high idle...though im not shur....when warm and everything turned off it idles at around 850-950RPM....now i have changed spark plugs and did a HUGE tune up 1 week ago...im just wondering is it a normal idle speed?
My 2004 2.2l Cavalier (Auto) idles at about 550-600 when warm.

5-speed is 900.
4-speed auto is 600.

that idle sounds okay but you should clean your throttle body any way. also check operation of I.A.C. valve
