it dont have to be exact, if u have to strech the tails out to make em fit go for it, even if it wont turn out 100%
im just going for an "about" how it would look. dont need anything perfect.
i only have pait at home, so this is how it turned out when i did it, lolz!
this is the car.
and here are the tails. [closest pic to car i could find]
if u need a diff pic of the car, just lemme know either here or through PM.
will get one ASAP. of if tails on another car would work better for cutting out and putting let me know, i will see wut i can find!
OMG thanks!
it looks great!
i had plans of painting the car black.
but sandrift with the toyo's looks tits!
u have made my decision quite hard now!
but meybe black car, gold rims will have that more JDM feel/look to it!
whut everyone think?
sandrift with toyo's and black rims?
or black cav, gold rims and toyo's?
man this is tuff!
...doesnt seem like too many people have cav's in sadrift.
so this would be quite different IMO!
JDM + CAVALIER = RICE
if you say JDM on almost anything about a cavalier, its just silly.
jk lol
go sandrift. cheaper, nicer, easier to keep clean

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
well keeping it sandrift wont really be cheaper for me because i have some gamage on like the whole pass side of the car, so the whole car needs repainted anyways, and it acctually seems that mixing up a black for the car is cheaper than trying to match the sandrift and spraying the whole car. so in the end i might just get it painted black...
well, haha. i ment damage.
and i was already planning on doing all the prepwork for it.
i am currently fixing damage from slipping in the winter and sliding the whole side accross a mailbox.
there is a crease goin down the whole side of the car.
and as for pricing, im not talking out of my ass about color.
they gave me a price for mixing and matching up the sandrift paint and painting the whole car to the exact color [not blending/feathering] and just painting it black with a metallic in it and the black was cheaper...
both paints, sandrift and black were estimated for just the outside, not including trunk, door jambs, under hood...
i cannot afford all of that! if i do end up getting it painted black, i will spray the inside trunk, inside doors, and under the hood/engine bay with a black undercoating or something...may not look the best, but its all i can do! i might think about keepin color/similar color to sandrift tho. i do love the toyo's on it!
If they are just quoting prices on spraying the outside of the car, I can see where black is just a cheaper paint. BUT, if you change the color, you NEEEEED to color match the sills and jambs. When I started working on my uncle's Mustang, he still didn't know what color he wanted it. In the end he ended up telling me black... the car is white... Do you have any idea what a pain it is to paint a factory white vehicle, black?!?! And if you don't put the effort or extra money into doing the little details, it is never going to look that good. Think of the engine bay, inside the gas door, in the trunk, door jambs, etc.. If you have them do the body work and paint it the stock color, it will somewhat match the door jambs and such, to where it woni' look half as bad as black outside, tan inside the jambs.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Hahaha yeah. Mine wasn't a van, it was an 88 5.0 vert. but still, making sure that EVERY inch of white paint gets done is a bitch.
