I just got my zex dry kit into the car two days ago. I am running the 55 shot right now, and have Autolite 103 plugs. The car is running an AEM cai, full exhaust, and a
TB riser. The car seems to be detonating very badly. Any suggestions?
upgrade your feul system. new pump, and injectors
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Does the setup you're using boost the fuel pressure automatically when you're spraying? Better yet, do you know what PSI you're at while you're spraying?
I have a dry setup on my car as well and haven't really done any mods at all to the fuel system yet. I don't think injectors and fuel pump are your problem, honestly.
I've been on the phone to a couple of people who have said that I'm not revving high enough in fourth gear, and therefore I'm detonation at the lower rpms. So i'll ease up there. I guess I was a little "nitrous happy". This is my third sunfire, but only the first nitrous setup I've had.
The system does boost the fuel pressure when i'm on the spray. I've been told I shouldn't have to touch my fuel system until at least a 75 hp spray. But what would you recommend for injectors?
Also what gap are you guys setting your plugs at. I've been told everything from .050 to .038. An suggestions there?

no, you NEED to check your fuel pressure, run 93 octane gas, and make sure your vacuum lines are run correctly to the NMU.
My dealer checked the pressure and said it was ok. I am running 94 octane gas. And the vacuum lines are run correctly. I've figured out the problem and have a window switch on the way. thanks to all who out in their 2 cents worth.
