As the topic says, what does the basic kit consist of? I've got a ZEX bottle, and I'd really like to run nitrous on my '02 2200 cavalier. What all do I need and where can I get it to finish it all off? I do not plan to run more than a 50 shot.

Fuel solenoid
Nitrous solenoid
One 10-15ft braided line
Three 8-12" braided lines
Nitrous Relay
8ft of two different colored wire (12-14gauge)
Nitrous Nozzle
Different Jets to set nitrous shot
WOT switch
1-2 flip switches
And to make it a really clean install you should grab either some wire loom or some electrical tape so you can wrap all the wires in nice and clean so if you pop your hood it doesn't look a mess.

Ahh I forgot
Line to solenoid fittings (need like 4-5? -4an fittings) (if not -4an its -3an)
Brackets to mount solenoids (1 for each solenoid)
Fuel Tee
Also check out my sticky post at the top of the page to see what the fuel tee looks like.

I'm also a noob at this. How much should everything cost (I've already got the bottle), and how much would an extra bottle run me? It'd like to run two bottles, and which is better, wet or dry? I've heard dry kits are easier to install, but wet kits are more effecient.

You can find a good one as cheap as $350. Importnant thing about nitrous is that there isn't much difference in the random companies you may here of and their basic kits. The only thing they may be different is a more quality solenoid, which NX is known for. But never spend $500+ for a NOS brand kit when a Scoggin Dickens kit goes for $350.

It would be the same for you considering you have to buy a completely new kit to get everything you want + the bottle. So again you're looking at $350-500. There's no real point in running two bottles unless you want to skip a trip to the refill station, or if you wanted to do a looks thing?
If you wanted to buy a 10lb bottle seperate, they usually go for $110 (cheapest ebay 10lb bottle) to $700 (c/f bottle retail)

And I suggest you grab a Wet kit instead of a Dry kit if you had the choice. But if you had to settle with Dry, go head but make sure you take the proper precautions.

There are a few nitrous forums online that sell random stuff all the time and I highly advise you to take that deal Daniel gave you. $150 is not bad at all.....if you find a nitrous forum you can find bottles everywhere for sale for under $70 and random switches, progressive controllers, more solenoids, etc..
Heck you could have an entire kit for what 245 or so once you get the bottle, line, AND plugs........buy it NOW option for this guy please

I heard wet kits were the best.
I may be able to get it on Thursday. I got a few bills due the day after I get paid, but I can see what I can do. I don't want to pass that deal up.
