alright well i have a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse, and i really want to put a nitrous kit on it, but this car has around 135k miles on it, the engine is all stock from what i know, and as far as i know there are no problems with the engine, i was thinking of running a 50 shot, what i want to know is if my car could handle that, i mean if there were no major problems with engine
and im an idiot, sorry about posting about a mitsubishi
No worries man about the mitsu post, well not for some of us at least.
I'm not going to pretend to be a nitrous oxide guru. But, maybe you could start with smaller nitrous jets. (25, 35, then 50) Just to see how the motor responds.
Somebody wiser will chime in sometime soon.
Just curious, how did you hear about the JBO if you're a Mitsubishi driver?

well i was just searching the net for info on nitrous systems, and the beginners FAQ section seemed pretty informative, so i just posted w/o looking at the rest of the site
Oh okay, that makes sense. I was just curious.
ive known people that installed nitrous on cars with more miles than yours and with no problems. nitrous is fun and your engine can last long on it if you respect it and take some precautions
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I would try something like ccdsm site or something along those lines but, I would say that if you don't have any problems, go for it. What motor is it tho? Is it a base model?

I'm surprised you show up to our meets after half of the things you say on here.
