OK I did a search and found nothing about this:
I have a 97' Cavalier 2.4L, with AEM short ram intake and an AroSpeed muffler...
...and I want to put N20 on my car. The car has 85k miles on it. It's relatively new, my uncles changed a couple of things, from the transmission oil (synthetic) to the water pump, and the clutch, among others.
My question is this: Which N20 kit would be most preferred for this car, and why?
Also...how do you check the fuel pressure on your car?
If you guys can PLEASE help me ASAP, cause this is the next thing I want to put on my car. all help is appreciated, thanks!
i have the NX kit myself. and my cars has 82,000 miles. start out small. 35 maybe 50 shot. then upgrade the internals then you can go with a bigger shot <br>
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I'm completely satisfied with my zex wet kit. I run a 75 shot with a built motor. I'm pretty confident the engine could take alot more. I have a 97 w/rebuilt engine and 85k

start off nice and small, upgrade the fuel system and run a 1-150 shot later on. if you stay out of detination and keep on the rich side of the fuel curve you shoud be a-ok. Pick a starting point and work your way up, wont be long before you know the limit.

I have a 99 z24 with 63,000 on it and have been running a 75 shot on it for two summers now, and about 10 or so track passes. Ive probably went through 15 or so bottle refills and i've had absolutely no problems at all. I am running the NOS wet kit. This year i will be running a dry nitrous kit with a 50 shot and the gm supercharger. My bottom end is still stock, only internal upgrades include fully ported and polished head, larger valves, titanium valve springs, and custom ground camshafts. With the NOS wet kit my best time was a 14.01 @ 98mph, i had pretty major traction issues and clutch slippage, this should be solved this year with a stage 3 spec clutch and a phantom limited slip. Once the weather gets nice ill post some supercharged and juiced times

10 track passes and 15 refills? something aint right. unless you been using it on the street alot *shakes head*
Yes JB i do street race, before all of you preach to me why its bad and why i shouldnt do it just know its not going to deter me one bit, i never street race on crowded streets, or highways for that matter. Its usually done late nights in as controlled as it can get and still be illegal.

Arriving...... 3-6-05 ..........
I would say get a NX wet kit (or any wet kit of your choosing) but I would definently go wet
So far we've installed a zex wet kit and a nx wet kit and the zex is a better kit. In the NX kit we did it didnt come with a fuel T so we had to make one and that set us back a day. It cost us maybe 15.00 to make it, if the pieces were bought from NX it probably would have cost 3 x that. The 4AN to 1/2" adapter for the solenoid was standard thread and the solenoid was metric thread, and that adapter came with the kit and was meant for that solenoid, might have been a packaging mistake, but then again NX lists all there parts in metric I believe. Also the full throttle switch on the NX kit is something that has to be rigged to the throttle body and cable, the ZEX full throttle switch doesnt. All in All the NX kit put up a small fight on install, the Zex kit was an uneventfull install which is nice for a change. Theres more reasons why I prefer zex but you get the picture.

I love my Zex wet kit too. Install was a snap. I ran a 75 shot all summer at the track and run a 100 shot now.
I started at a 75 shot but the first time I ever sprayed was on the dyno, which I highly reccomend. We were actually still running rich with the fuel jet for the 55 shot. If you are not going to dyno, start with the lowest shot you have jets for and stay witht he reccomended jets for a givem shot.
2000 Z24
200 hp, 230 lb/ft on 75 shot
14.396@96 mph
217 hp, 275 lb/ft on 90 shot
No track times yet
I run a Nitrous Works kit at the 100 hp setting. Absolutely lovely.
