Really WET inside doors?
Thursday, January 19, 2006 5:19 PM
I just noticed that my doors are getting really wet, as my speakers' basket are dripping water sometimes, especially when it's raining outside. Is there anyway to seal the doors up? I've got some really nice CDT HD components up front and I'd like to keep the midbass drivers from being trashed by the water and dirt coming in.

Cheers,

G

damn and your car is pretty much brand new. is the rubber trim around the door busted up or what? where's it leaking in at?

check the rubber where the wires for your door come in, and the seal on the outside of the window. if the seal on the outside of the window is bad, you will get a ton of water in your door, you will need to replace it.

Grimor: By the seal you mean the outside lip with velvet-like texture? What exactly are you talking about?
