alright, i'm debating on either gettin 1 12" kicker L7 or 1 15" kicker L5 for my 2004 cavalier. i'm gonna custom box it regardless of what i get. anyone got any input on which they think would be better off?? i listen to A LOT of dirty south rap with HEAVY bass... in fact, the only thing i really listen to at all is rap. so bass means a lot to me

12" is cleaner, 15" is louder... generally anyway

i had a 15" L7 and it was sick loud but to each is his own, it was in a 6cu/ft slotted box so you wont have room for anything if you go that route

a 12 L7 in a box made by Kicker would be a clean and engineered way to go. if you want CRAZY bass, an enginereed box is THE best thing.

Yeah id go with the 15s, they are killer for rap and hip hop.

i have a buddy with 2 15's in his celica, they are killer. if you want crazy bass where you feel like your heart is going bump outta your chest - go with the 15's

i have 2 L7 12"s with a way underpowered amp running them and they hit hard enough to feel it in your chest......the amp is pushing i believe 300w rms to each sub and the subs will cut the amp off if i turn them up to much......just waiting on my bigger box and bigger amp, to shut the kids on the block up....damned youngins
