I will be running a second fuse panel in my car, but I have to finish the custom box that I am putting it in first.
Until then, does anyone know what fuse is hot even when the car is off? I want to install my LEDs but I want them to be able to turn on even when the car is not. I'm not sure which fuse to tap into. I currently have them tapped into the wiper fuse, but that fuse is dead when the car is off.
Any help would be appreciated.

Wiper fuse isnt off when the car is off.
Try the CIG fuse, thats a Constant 12V.
Thanks, I'll try that as soon as the rain stops.

why dont u just run it straight to the battery with an inline fuse??
i've been using the pwr acc for my headunit and neons.
the 6 or 7 fuses on the lower portion of the pic of the fuse pannel should be a switched fuse (no power when the ignition isnt turned to on).
so tap it into any fuse other than:
the wiper, HVAC, Defog, HTR, BCM and AMPL.
from what i remember half the panel should be switched the other half is always live.
before you tap in, check it with a multimeter though.
Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!

This is a good idea, just run the new fuse box straight to the battery, constant power right there, and of course, you'll probably want to run some switches.
The cigarette lighter isn't always hot 12v though, some cars (usually luxury cars? or just older ones) the cig lighter doesnt work when the car is off. Cav doesnt necessarily apply, gotta test it tho.
why not just get a other fuse box

My original post said that I was going to install another fuse box. It's just not ready yet and I want the LEDs in now. So once the box is ready to install I will be running the LEDs and several other things off the new box. I just wanted to know which stock fuse I could use until then.
Thanks for the help all.
