What is the best route for installing the pioneer premier in my 2001 cavalier. should I run a different ground and lead to the battery? I was thinkin that would be the better way to go for less resistance. It is one of their 60x4 max and 27x4 rms headunits. I know that they cannot put out anywhere near that but for the price I could not pass it up. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

If you already have a power wire back to the trunk or where ever, and it is big enough, just use a fused distribution block.
As far as the ground, just take it down to metal, paint scraped off, shorter the better.
