I'm looking to replace the 4x6's in the door with either 5.5 or 6.5 rounds. They will be amped with about 60 watts a side. I'm looking for a reasonably priced speaker with decent sound to round out my system. Thanks.

infinity reference 6.5" components. you can catch them on sale at best buy for around 110 every now and then. by far the best thing i've done for my stereo system, including my amp/subs.

I just put some polk audio DB525s in my door. They sound awesome, very clean sound and they're good for up to 75w rms i think, 175 peak? they're awesome speakers, i have the db690s in the rear and these things can take a beating. Good price too, i'm happy.
I have three Alpine 6.5" type R component sets... even with the subs off it sounds freaking phenominal.

elemental designs edi 6000s. for $125 they are hard to touch. great performance for the price. the speakers have great off axis response so they will be suited for the stock speaker locations perfect. youl be alot happer going with a set of components that some coaxials.
