i mic'd my system today...i have 2 kicker solobaric L7's dual 4 ohm coils run as a 2 ohm sub....running off a e1400d jl amp....stock electrical system without a cap....playing a 60 hz test, hit 147.6 on the dash and 148.4 on the floor.........soon to be upgrading the big 3, putting a cap in, and getting a 1200 watt hifonics brutus amp.....any thoughts on what i will hit with that in?
on an audiocontrol?

cant remember the brand of mic but i have 2 seperate 2.75 cubic ft boxes with a .4 cubic ft port on each one.

it just popped into my head.....and the shop that i am using to put my stuff in at won a 1st and 2nd place trophy at sbn in daytona so i think they know what they are talking about.
60 hertz is a bit high for our cars did you try around 47 48 ish? And what shop is doing your cap install? A cap is not gonna help you much in SPL comps either. it will be discharged and trying to pull current long before your 3 second burp is up oh and not all caps have a digital voltmeter top either drake
so tru, well with the setup your going for, i think you might pull off 149.3 db for the simple fact thats what Nashaun is hitting with 2 brutus 1500 watt amps, 4 kicker L7 12's and 2 caps, you might pull off low 150's, can't wait to see it bud

dayam that's strng I got 2 of the new comp cvx which is basically a circle L7 same specs at 12.6v it did 142.3 this pasr weekend on an audiocontrol at the dash
I'm running sealed box 1.25 per sub not a lot I know but its all I got room for I don't know how much more I can get them up to

im running a 2400w amp but im not sure how many watts im actually using i know im not pushing the amp that hard, i can hit louder on a usaci mic which is the termpro thats just how the comp rules are
