Which head unit do you recommend me to buy?
The options are :
Pioneer DEH-P4800MP
Pioneer 4800

or


Kenwood KDC-MP5032
Kenwood MP5032

What I like about the pioneer is the price, cheaper than the kenwood head unit, and is a good brand.
On the other side I like how the kenwood head unit looks.


Other question:
Have you had this same problem with your head unit?
My sister bought a kenwood head unit two month ago in a local store and when they installed it thy cut off or trimmed the face plate so it could fit

Will I have the same problem with the receiver kit included by crutchfield have this same problem? The item says it fits but I just want to be sure.

i have a pioneer 6700mp and i love it, and i love pioneer's in general. but between those 2 i'd prob have to pic the kenwood, cause it has a bit more features. also i dont know anything about having to cut the trim ring

Get the Kenwood. It is a part of your interior that you send a lot of time looking at, and IMO they have more features and sound better. I Have a Kenwood, and did not have to trim my ring at all.

I forgot to mention that my sister car is also a sunfire that is why ask if I might need to trim the plate too so it could fit.
I really don't want to do that, I hope I don't have the same problem.
