XXX has 2 magnet slugs not 3. Are you sure you got a xxx or is it a SX?
im canadaian and dont understand square inches too well so lets say the box is like 20x20x17 how do i convert the 80 square inches of port into that? could someone either explain or put up the exact numbers please im confused..lol
hxwxd
and then divide that by 1728 for cubic feet
port area is length times width
your depth will determine your tuning frequency

port area...is how big the opening of your port is.
for example. if you have a square port hole and it has 5 inches by 5 inches opening, you have got 25 sq inches of port area.

so if i need a port that is 80 square inches it needs to be like this for an example..15"high. 12.5"deep, and 4.5"wide? is that right?
that is 67 inches of port
it could be 20 high by 4 wide
ok.. so now bout the wattage, i am running a fosgate power 10001bd at 1ohm for now on the XXX, what is the suggested power i should run to it, cause i was told it would handle two of these amps, one on each coil, any suggestions for this?
it wil handle it but you gotta be careful 1600 watts is its rms. you were probably giving it that at 1 ohm. here is the question are you happy wiht it. if so leave it alone.
i am very happy with it and yes its running at 1ohm, thanks for your help, someone told me it would run better with more power but if its ok with what im using now then im fine with that, thanks again, i will try to get a video or pics soon
