ok i was thinkin of buy a sunfire real cheap only problem is the air bags are blown. my question is could i swap my air bags from my cavalier to the sunfire? if so what about the sensors? just a thought i really don't know much about the airbag systems and what not.

no they are not the same...
I have all the air bag components (drivier/passenger bags, front bumper sensor, controller module under the carpet) from a 97 sunfire that I could sell you if you want it.
