Anyone ever had problems with them? I placed an order on June 12 for an amp and sent the MO the following day. They've received the money because in my account the order says I've paid in full. The problem is, it says the order is still processing, so I e-mailed them 2 days ago, and I haven't gotten a response yet. Just wondering if I should wait a little longer, try to call personally, or whatever. I'm not really in the mood to lose $600 right now, and I've always heard good things about them, so if anyone can help, that'd be great. Thanks!

I've had this problem before (not with them.) It's more than likely that they are waiting for their supplier to send them the item. Just hold out, maybe you'll get something free
Did you call them? They always answered the phone for me. And when i sent my MO in, it said processing the next day yet, simply because i let them know i mailed it. It hadn't even left my town yet.
But yeah check with them it may be on back order. I found that there online account thing sucks. I kept in touch with them, and they let me know when stuff shipped and what was back ordered with no problems what so ever. The only thing that pisses me off, is they refuse to put things as out of stock on there website. One of my amps was back ordered for over a month. And it still showed up on there website as in stock.
Okay well I just called them and apparently it's been ready for shipment for about a week now, but there was a miscommunicatio somewhere, so it's going out tomorrow. now I'm happy.
Yup, they are good at picking up the phone and letting you know what is going on. Good customer service in my book.
Well, I did a search, and found this post. I've had two orders recently that have been put on back order. the first time i got my money back no problem, so i decided to give them another shot. This time i ordered from their ebay store right after they posted the buy it now auction as having 2 amps available. a week later they sent me an e-mail saying it was on back order. How can an amp be on back order if they had 2 available and i bought one right after they posted the auction??? I've e-mailed him numerous times and i've only gotten a reply to one of my messages. I've tried to call the number on their web site on two different occasions now, but no answer either time. I'm very mad because i bought it on august 1st and then ordered my subs (2 eD 13 Ov.2)... so now i've got 2 great subs sitting on my bedroom floor because i don't have an amp. I'm just very dissappointed because i've never heard anything bad about this company.

it's now been 5 days without a response to my last e-mail saying i want my money back. They took the money out of my paypal account before they even told me my amp was on back order. I think i probably will go with an eD amp, the price is higher than that of the Directed D2400, but i think it will be worth it. This is the last time i will deal with ike sound. All i hear about is their great customer service but i've now called the number on their site three times with no answer and no response to my e-mails. Are they on vacation? or do they just not take calls and e-mails from Ohio?
I'm so mad at this point, I just want my money back so i can give elemental designs my business (Alex, I know you like to hear that
)

I've never had problems with them, and always recommended them. However, I also have not ordered anything since like 2003/2004. They used to be the cheapest place to get just about anything. Then their reputation went up, and so did their prices. Now I'm wondering if they got too big too fast.

I just ordered stuff from them earlier on in the year..no problems...that suprises me that you can get an answer because iv been dealing with them all week for something new and they have always answered the phone.

they will allll see the light lol BTW don't mean to thread jack, but since I'm on the subject of eD,...when those samples get here, I'm probly going to be ordering 100sq ft,...talked to the friend whos Subaru it's all going in, he said, if one is .80/sq ft and one is 1.28/sq ft, there is obviously a reason, and if the samples show a significant difference, he's pennying up a few bucks and getting the higher end (whats it called, se2 or something? sorry i forgot lol)

No clue where your from...so do you call 3pm eastern time? And as i said i have been dealing with them all week and i have had no problem getting ahold of them. Remember there not just an online store...so they may get busy around the shop..
Finally, on the fourth try, I got a hold of them. A lady answered and i gave her my order number and told her i just wanted my money back. She then told me she would have ike give me a call right back to see what he could substitute for the amp. I told her no thanks and i just wanted my money back. So she still insisted that ike should give me a call back so she took my number down and i waited for his call. She said he would call back shortly, but it's now been 2 hours and 15 minutes since she said that. So i sent an e-mail thanking them for their call back and said i just wanted my money back like i've been saying for the past two weeks.
I'm never dealing with ikesound again. I'm very dissappointed.
Maybe they just don't want to deal with a young kid? none of you guys have had problems but I've had nothing but bad luck with them.
As i said, they arent a huge shop. I have talked to the same lady everytime i have called. So im guessing shes the only one on phones, and im sure she has other duties. Dont let it get you down as they have always made right by me and well, you cant beat there prices. If you would let the owner talk to you, he may be offering a bigger better amp or a nicer amp for the same price, as they did that for me when mine was back ordered and they didnt notify me right away.

When are the tutorials for setting the gains and what not gonna be up? I'd really like to see the video now that my amps on the way.
Any way, I talked to the lady at ikesound again today and i got another amp (Directed D2400) to replace the amp i originally ordered plus a pretty hefty discount. I'm quite pleased at this point. A little mad about it taking so long but I can't beat the deal i'm getting.
Glad to see you got it all worked out with ikesound.
As for the gain tutorial video. It still might be a ways out. the websites still getting debugged.
I did create a thread a while ago titled Amplifier gain and crossover setting tutorial. It has all the info in it.
