How did you do it? A website I looked at recommended getting a "smart circuit breaker" and a battery regulator. Just wondering if anyone had any other ways they did it. Thanks

get some 0 gauge run it from the positive side battery up front to the positive side on the battery on the back and ground the one in the trunk some were, just make sure its a clean ground and dont for get to fuse BOTH ends of the positive battery
So use two fuse blocks, correct? One on the positive wire, and one on the ground?
nope like thie [battery]----fuse--------------------------------fuse---[2nd battery] both fuses will be on the same power wire

could you use 2awg ? just wondering cause i dont get my 0awg for a bit i am already using 2awg though will that be fine for now? and also just curious if you could use a blue top optima for the trunk battery?

2awg wire should be fused with nothing larger then a 200 amp fuse.
If you are using lower power amplifiers, using a smaller fuse is ok to do. but do NOT go over 200 amps
