I do not care if anyone doesn't like speakers in the rear deck, I like them there. I am thinking about getting some Infinity Kappa 6X9's since I can get them pretty reasonable ($90) through a hook up that I have. Any thoughts on this?

The being used is an Americam Pro Audio 1000 watt, but lets get real that thing is not putting out 1000 watts rms, more like 400watt rms.

there.... if you plan on running rear fill just by plopping some 6x9's in the rear deck, there ya go... mid woofers... the only frequencies you should consider using rear fill for...what are u running for a front stage and subs and how are u amping everything?

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn

Sorry, my comment was directed at Buda.

Most people find Infinity has earpiercingly loud Highs. If you dont want that, look into Boston, or even JBL. Both the GTO and GTI series are more bass like, but still crisp and clear with the higher freq, even though they are the same company as infinity.

The set up I plan on putting together and saying it is complete is like this:
Trunk: 3 Subs (already have 2)
Front doors: 2 way comps.
Rear doors: 2 way comps.
Rear deck : 6X9
The 2 subs that I already have run off of their own amp, 6X9's ran off of their own amp, door speakers (all 4 doors) will be ran off of their own amp, 3rd sub from it's own mono block amp.

running 3 subs... 2 off one amp and 1 off another... doesnt sound like the best way to go... they different types or sizes as well? i realy can see lots of cancelation and all around messiness to this sound ur system will have... honestly reconsider going with something simpler and better sounding..

I hear what your saying JLAudioCav, but either way, I need to replace my subs. Getting really punchy as of late. But yes, for the rear deck, that is all I want is a 6X9 mid, then put 2 or 3 way comps in the doors, and replace both subs (will also upgrade the sub amp as well).

Poolhall, here it is, if I wanted the new Boston I would get in touch with a friend of mine which I can get them for $100 from him. I can get the Kappa's from him for $90. I have already made up my mind on which way I am going with my speakers. Not going to use 6X9's in the rear deck, getting mid bass 6 1/2's and put in there.

low cost subs and low cost midbass 6.5s? sounds like a job for some 13kv2's and eu700s 13k's are 75 through the forum discount, EU's i think are still only 50 bucks each!

eu700s, yes, I am going to go with the 130v.2s and 2 of them I may order a 12kv2 and get the shipping adress wrong if you get what I am saying Dustin. The only thing it looks like that will be around the September time frame, what did you want for Christmas again?
