I don't know if anyone else experiances the same problem or anything but the problem with my remote is it only works from a distance of like 5 feet no further. This is kinda useless with the panic button when you can't find your car.

I am just curious if anyone else has had the problem or if there is a fix that can extend the range on it.

try a new battery

when i changed my battery it extended the range out to like 10 ft, wooohooooo

Hey it comes in handy when you can't remember where you parked your car in a busy parking lot. Or some @!#$ decides to lean against your car when they are having a conversation with someone else. Scares the heck outta them.

Yeah I have tried changing the battery did nothing for me. Is there any way to get a new antenna for the reception? Or some other fix to extend the range on the factory remotes. I just hate not being able to unlock my car for a friend from 20 feet away or barely getting it to work 2 feet away.
