Fuse Keeps Blowing
Sunday, August 06, 2006 11:43 PM
Okay, the fuse to light up my gauge cluster keeps blowing. I think it is also affecting my headlights and tail lights. Anyway, i replace the fuse, and a few trips in the car, it blows again. I can't figure it out. I didn't change any electical stuff, but it keeps blowing by itself. Is there anyway i can troubleshoot this? TIA

is there anyway to easily determine where the short is? I searched high and low and can't find it.

you'd have to trace the wires all the way back, if its something easily to get at run a new wire and see if that fixes the problem.

minw was a headlight wire that was close to the radiator that melted the insulation and when it would touch the medal the fuse would blow, i had it fixed at the dealership and it was sixty bucks for all
