Is a 6.5in Speaker too big for a kickpanel?

Making custom fiberglass kick panels and i ordered some 4'' JL for the doors and 6.5" kickers for the kick panels. Wondering if i should swap em and make an adapter for the doors.

they'll fit fine, i have 6.5" JL's in my kicks also

as long as you dont get some orion or infinity kappa perfect 6.1's i think ull be ok

my question is how are you crossing everything over. if your going to use the 4" i'd use it as a midrange and put the 6.5" in the door and dedicate it to midbass duties.
