I have 2 gauge power wire and it doesn't exact fit perfectly in the hole on my amp (RF P2002) for the power wire with the set screw. I tried cuttin the wire down but it stil does fit right. How did you all get the wire to stay in? Also how did you all get the ground wire to stay under a bolt? i tried wrapin the wire around the bolt but i slips out after awhile.
It's got 4 gauge inputs; 2 gauge > 4 gauge. Keep cutting bro. Also, they make terminals to either crimp or screw down onto wire for it to fit on a bolt with ease
well its wire i had left over from when i had a system before and i really didn't see any point in just goin out and buyin more wire when i can just use this wire. where can i find the step-down connectors?
Cant you buy some connections that alow you to out your wire into the amp without makeing it smaller? kinda like the connection that goes to the battery but smaller, they're like ten bucks at futureshop/bestbuy....
You may also just need to strip the wire back more. Be sure it is getting all the way in there.
Sold 6/30/06.
just get a disribution block...
one 2 gauge goes in and you have have two 4 gauges coming out to go to your amps
