My girlfriend bought me a pair of JBL's 6X9 for the sunfire. I noticed that the stock speakers have four connections on the back.
While the JBL's have only 2 connections. How do I go about connecting the new speakers?

I have connected only 2 wires to the speakers and they sound distorted. I even tried hooking up Red with red and red/black with red/black and it makes no difference.
