truth. you can possibly get standing waves inside the box this can effect the sq of the sub. i spray sound damping on every box i build.

yeah edead will do the same thing. as for the pillows they will have a diffrent results. the polyfill in the pillows will basically do the same thing as having a slightly larger box would.

I sprayed the inside of the box that sits inside of my dash. I also coated the outside with dynomat. Even though the sub is in the middle of the dash, there are no rattles and it sounds great with propper phasing.

it works very similar to rattle can paint. except i find yyou need to shake it alot more durring coating to keep the "ruberrized effect" consistent across the spray. i usually use 2-3 coats per enclosure so i know i have everything covered well

i never knew anything about this.... but ill have to try it. actually first of all i think i will spray some of this down over top of my deadening mat.

i guess it doesnt have to be at any temperature for it to stick correct? cause its a little cold in the ky right now but id still like to do it.

also, how long does it take to dry and what brand should i use. 3m undercoating (white /red checkers) or 3m undercoating professional grade (orange and black checkers)

i belive one of the 3m brands think its the proffesional states its helps attenuate. and the temp requirements will be on the can. it dries about the same as spraypaint does. the can will also tell you that.
