PLEASE HELP - Horn Wiring ?

PLEASE HELP!!! I got a ticket a few weeks ago for having an expired inspection sticker. I have to go to court on the 31st so I have to get a state inspection by then. Thats where my problem lies. My horn doesn't work and it has to work in order for my car to pass inspection. I figured out that there's a short somewhere in the wiring so I need to know how to rewire from the horn buton to the horn. Pretty much I need to know Which wire is connected to the horn button?

There a lot of people on the org that swear up and down that they are experts. It just so seems that when I have a question about something other than rims, intakes, and carbon fiber, I don't get any response. Please somebody help me I really need this info. I have looked everywhere I could think of, to find the info I need and have had no luck. I'm sure someone knows.

I know you whine like a schoolgirl when you don't get instant gratification. First, did you check the fuse? The cig. lighter and horn are on the same fuse. Second, wiring goes from fuse box to horn button, then a black wire from horn button to said horn.

lol....funny but no school girl here bro. It was more of a joke than anything.

**What I really need to know is Which wire goes from the fuse box to the horn button. I burnt up my cig lighter wire a while back. I have since then replace that wire, but because I didn't know which it was, I never got around to replacing the horn wire.

The horn wire and the cig wire go to the same place in the fuse box. Richard does have a good point, could also be a bad relay as well. If the horn is still shorted, it could kill fuses instantly.

I know that it isn't a bad relay. I know the horn still works. I know that the horn and cig are on the same fuse. All I really need to know is which wire goes from the horn button to the fuse box. The color of the wire, a pic, a desription, anything would help. The sooner I find out what wire it is the sooner I can fix my horn problem.
