Finally Some Boom

Well, it won't win any sound competion, but I love the way it sounds just right for me. Here's the pix of the install, got a little clean up to do yet, but the battery is off to the left, you just can't see it. What do you guys think?

Has your amp caught on fire yet?

Wow, that's the first picture of an inverted sub install that I have ever seen, I know it works and all, but it is not that common from what I gather. Kudos for originality.

inverting the subs isnt all that original..... at all.... but anywho, i guess if you're happy with whathca got. congrats. I wanna kick you in the balls and rewire your amp for you, but im nitpicky and i just cant stand wires looking like that...

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

A few things...
No the amp hasn't caught on fire. There's gotta be more than me with a or multiple inverted subs. I know it's not that unique, if it can be considered unique at all. As for the wires, they've been re-run. So there's no need for sack beatings. lol

well, yea I know there are quite a few people out there with inverted subs, it's just that you never see them post pics of their system.

The reason I did it wasn't for show purposes, it was because my box was too shallow, oops, and I had no other option.

No it's a P.A. Fubar. Sorry I didn't answer that before, I was kinda caught up with all the other stuff.

From the urban dictionary

F.U.B.A.R. is an acronym for:

1. F*cked up beyond all reason.
2. F*cked up beyond all recognition.
3. F*cked up beyond all repair.

yea that FUBAR is 600 watts rms....LOL thats really F*CKED UP! you can get em now at best buy for like 60 - 70 bucks...
Re: Finally Some Boom

Yeah and the coolest thing is I only paid 25 for it, and it was only used for a week. And wha't wrong with 600rms? I'm kinda new to the audio thing, I just wanted a little more bass to my music. I got exactly that.

Don't know exactly what that db rating means. I don't know if that's really good, average or sub-par. Anyway, I have been and always will be more of a go-fast first, look good second kind of guy, but I figured what's the real drawback to having only one 10" sub?

you have a FUBAR a step below my FUBR and two steps below the MOFO

DBs: measurement of loud sound...... DB Drags

147DBs not bad since i have a ghetto box put together with only one amp and no extra battery, wiring or upgraded alternator plus no fat mat.....lol yeah i would say it bangs pretty good for a moderate subwoofer.

custom audio concepts here in ohio

Adam tested it on a db drag test tone cd

he is the shop owner and was amazed at what i hit

so go and hate its natural for people to do

i had to pay 30 bucks for a 1 hr session

and its a FUBR not a FUBAR dumbass, to seperate models....read my post

Re: Finally Some Boom

I guess with the mic in the port anything is possible. FUBR, FUBAR whats the difference, it is all complete garbage anyways. Lets see some pics of this so called 147dB setup. I call BS to the fullest sense of the word.

Hey, hey, hey now. There's no need for abusing people on this thread. I've said it before, I'm new to the audio thing, I got what I could cheap. If it blows, I'll replace it, for me it sounds pretty good. I'm not going for competion or any of that like some of you are. I just wanted a little more bass, I got that. Even if people are spewing bs, there's a nice way and rude way of saying that. I wouldn't be one to take shots, but it seems as though most of you guys have a ton in audio, but nothing else, you know there is more to modding cars than just audio right?
