Well after realizing I just dont have the space for these 9917s to really shine and realizing I can do much more with less Ive decided to sell the 9917s and tear the wall out. Doing 2 DD9515's off 2 MA HK4000d's and the plan is having the subs stacked with port driver side. Looking to hit a 155 with 1 amp
Anyone know off hand what the height is back there? I am kinda unsure about if I have the room to fit 2 15's stacked with a proper dance floor and bracing up top.

I see you dont go too close to the top of the wall why is that? Bracing? I was getting some dimensions and were gonna be doing 2x2 square tubing for the bracing ripping out all interior panels back there and welding it to the sheet metal instead of doing 2x4s. Hoping to save a bit of room doing that and have a much stronger base. Hmm I wanna do 160s

thats not going to be easy with 3000 watt's, what are you going to tune it to? i just got my sub's back and im going for the loudest non-walled J but ill be happy with a 150 and some change (sealed up at the dash)
you should have more than enough room for two 9515s. That wall in mine is like 13.5 cubes external . I would not go that big for the DDs. When i redo mine they will get 4 to 4.5 tops. I have two in this same wall now and I think they would benefit from a smaller box . .
Id like to but I realize its not very easy. Plans are eventually either 8 20.1's so 2 strapped per coil or 8 MA HK3000Ds. Also seeing how long it would take for me to have the funds of doing 8 40.1's
im going to get a price on some Stetson 7KD tomorrow ill let you know, so far they look like a good amp. its probley like all the other 7-8000 watt amps that came out in the past few months
160's, man that's a lot of crap in a little car, lol. better be putting some air ride on there to help with the weight, lol.
I'd like to be doing 155+ myself, If i can hit that, then i'll stop changing stuff for awhile, lol

the cav can get loud when walled. it hink you should ahev stuck with the 9917s and built into the trunk some. i bet it would have done alot better.
I <3 the 9917s but I couldnt get them stacked. Pretty sure we found a way to stack the 9515s in the cavalier. I just wanna get a cavalier above 160
