Just want to make sure I have things straight. Getting a 99 Cavalier, I won't need a special harness because it has a power wire 12V in the radio already, and do I need a special bracket for it to fit/ be solid in the dash? Any other special equipment I might need for installing the deck or speakers?

to install the deck you will need a mounting kit, because your going from the stock double DIN size, to a single DIN aftermarket deck. as for the speakers... you can splurge for some speaker adapters and not cut any wires, or just splice. dont forget a way to get your window cranks off if youve got manual windows. good luck.
