I'm wondering if this box is okay for my subs.. not sure what spec they are, know there pioneer 12" ones, 200W nom. 800W max. says 4ohm on the back. The subs were in the box when I got em. There hooked together in series. I think there sorta old, but they work. it has some sorta fuzzy crap behind the subs, some sorta matting.

If you guys need any more info I'd be happy to supply it..
I'm going to be running these with a 550W soosche amp..
Also, is there any modifications I can do to the box itself?

we'd need to know all the measurements on the box and a model number on the subs itself.just loooking at a pic wont do any good.

I agree with sndsgood we need all the measurements, ie: height, depth, length stuff like that.

and that fuzzy crap you are talking about is polyfil. It is the stuff that is in some pillows and is there to make the speakers think they are in a bigger box, it makes the bass thump a little harder. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
