1" tweeter mounts... anyone??
Friday, November 02, 2007 6:22 PM
alright guys i moved my speakers around and my alpine 1" tweeters currently have no mounts (they're the swivel kind) I've either lost them, broken them or threw them away on accident.

anyone have any idea where I can find mounts for tweeters? OR does anybody have any they're looking to get rid of?

I have an Alpine SPR-17S component system

any help would be appreciated.

I had the idea to mount them in the holes that the window cranks went through, but you would need to find panels that had them already or if you didn't have power windows, guess that wouldn't work.

Of course not... but you can use the little mounts from the CTS and graft them onto the J pillars..

You can also do a hack job on the 99+ sunfire door panel pods for the tweeter as well. Those would probably work better since the tweeter would be closer to the woofer if mounted down low near the woofer.
