Hey everyone, im getting really bored of the audio in my car right now and i need some help here on what to do. Right now, In my 94 Sunbird 2dr i have a pioneer deh-3800mp HU, with 3.5'' Kicker 15rms (coaxials, i think) in my dash and pioneer 4 way 6x9 80rms TS-A6982R in my rear deck.
My goals are to have loud, clean sound with a little more bass from the 6x9s.
My first intention was to get a 2 channel amp for the 6x9s, but now im thinking about getting a 4 channel amp, just in case in the future i want to add a small sub. Don't know much about amps but i researched some and the Kenwood KAC-8403 and Pioneer GM-6300F were in my price range and dont seem too bad. Which amp do you guys recommend, and which will be more reliable in the long term.
Looking to spend $150 or so on ebay, and looking for 50+ rms/channel if you guys suggest another brand. Any advice would be appreciated.

I can personally attest for the kenwood amp....Its a good one. However, I wouldn't recommend those 6x9's, Most people on here are pushing components in the back deck, and In your case I have to agree. If you are adventurous, put some kick pods in the front with some good 6 1/2's with a set of 6 1/2's in the back deck if you feel the need. Amp those with a 4 channel, and get a second Class-d mono amp to power a sub.
I hate the sound setup on the Gen 2 J's. I have one, its awful.
Thanks for your input mark, thanks for the recommendation on the kenwood. New front and rear speakers are not in my budget right now. My 6x9's are not that bad, i don't mind them. I think i jumped the gun tho when i bought the front and rear speakers right after my HU, i think i should of spent more money on a better set. 2nd gen cars are set-up pretty crap speaker wise, no doubt.
Thanks again Mark, anyone else?

Head unit: KDC-MP635
Rear deck 6x9: KFC-6980IE
I have the 6300F powering my Polk/MOMO 6.5's. The Polks will handle 120 so the pioneer is half that, but the bass is very loud and distortion free. So the Pioneer is a good choice. Mine was $60 remanufactured.
