wire mp3 to factory radio
Sunday, February 10, 2008 1:13 PM
I have the cheapo radio on my 2005 1SV cav. I thought maybe there was a PIE adaptor for it but it says it only works on the radios that have a "band" button (mine doesnt) and the ability to control a CD changer, which mine probably cant.

How can I get a line to run to my mp3 (sandisk, NOT ipod)? The standard 1/8" stereo cable is what I want.

THANKS!

ou have 2 choices:

1 get an fm transmitter
2 get a new head unit with an auxillary input

"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin
