anyone know how to fix the lcd display on the factory radio? mine isnt lighting up, but the rest of the radio is.

Mine did the same thing. One day when I started up the car after filling up with gas, something didnt seem right. The backlight on the lcd had gone out. I called a couple of the local stereo places and none of them could help. Finally called the dealership and was told that they can't fix them. What they could do is sell me a remanufactured unit, but it was ridiculously overpriced. (Between $250 and $400 or something like that.)

I just ended up buying an aftermarket unit.

If you want the same thing you have, you might want to try ebay. There are usually a few standard GM radios floating around out there.
