I'm trying to decide where to run the ipod control cable from my stereo. It would probably be pretty easy to stick it in the glove compartment, but I kind of like the idea of having it in the center console.
Any advice on what works good?
i just ran mine down under the center console and drilled a whole into the little compartment under the elbow rest and put it in there.

If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin
^^JBO is about not being that guy
Cool that's what I think I might end up doing.
Now I just need to get the cable. And an ipod.

That's basically what I did as well.

i ran my cable into my glove box lid where there is the little tissue holder, it fits nice and snug in there with a little carpet for a lining and padding

I drilled a hole on the inside of my glove box and ran the ipod cable through there. Then stuck a piece of velcro to the ceiling of my glove box and the other piece on my ipod and just stick my Ipod to the ceiling of the glove box so it doesn't slide around.
I drilled a hole in the pocket under my deck and it sits in there with a case on it...

Well it was nice out today so I decided to get off my butt and put in the ipod cable.
I had planned on just feeding it through that opening in the top of the glove box over to the area behind the stereo. Upon further examination, it looked like I'd have to remove too much stuff to get back there.
It actually ended up being easier to just drill a hole in the center console and run the cable through that then up and behind the dash.
Kinda made a mess with the drill because I had to hold it upside down to get where I wanted to drill, but oh well, once you put that cup holder thing back inside the console you can't see where the cable comes out anyway.

exactly what I did, and I'm planning on setting up a dock inside that compartment too at some point
