I just had a set of actuators burn out on me after like a month of using. what brand do you all prefer? It's for a two door.

I would say that there was some sort of underlying issue with the actuators or the install. I've installed a boat load of aftermarket power locks, and in that time, have used everything from bargain-basement actuators to "name brand" actuators, and I have never, ever had any of them "burn out" (and this is after years of usage).

well i believe my last ones were dei.... what was wierd was in the winter, i had a few times where they wouldn't unlock.. I think it was because there were frozen.. i had to unlock and lock with the keyless a couple times to actually get them to break free.. I don't know if that caused any problems.. And when i put in the actuators, i could no longer use the key as if i tried to unlock with the key itself, the key would start to bend.
