Just installed this today, but sometimes when I turn the car on, it gives me the error message: "Caution: Screen Image May Appear Reversed"
As far as I can tell there is no way around this message and it just stays on the screen for good. I don't have a backup camera installed or anything so I don't think that could be a sort of "warning" message, so I'm just not sure what is going on. All other buttons work and playback works no problem, it's just that there is nothing on the screen but this message...and there is nothing in the manual or on Pioneer's website (that I see) regarding this message...
Anyone have any idea what this is and how to get around it??
who installed it?
what they did was run a cable from the video out of the deck (rear monitor out) into the Video in (backup camera) input as opposed to using a tr7 and programming it to work around the parking brake OR. install it correctly.
watch for flying sparks!!!
i checked it over the weekend...and there was nothing hooked up to the video in, and nothing hooked up to the rear camera in...
i just had to reset the system to factory and that fixed the problem, oddly enough...so problem solved
weird eh.... i'll try and make my store demo do that.

installing a tr7 and programming it to work around your parking break??? when i installed mine all i did was ground the parking break wire, whats the significance of doing it the way u mentioned?
