ok right now my current setup is.
alpine hu
clarion speakers front and rear.
clarion eq.
clarion amp pushing speakers..
now my question is about my subs and amp. subs are advent 10's (2 of them) and amp is dual 460 watt. ok well my local sound shop want to sell me two 10 inch memphis m3's and a 600 watt American bass amp. in box and installed for $500. is it a worth while upgrade? will there be enough difference im not sure what to do.

That setup there will give you some bass, and you can do it yourself.

installing is on problem for me i have installed 15 or 16 systems. the fact they would install it is just a bonus. they do free installs if you buy sub+box+amp. building my own box really isnt to big of deal either to tell you the truth i just liked the way that box and sub combo sounded. i got to here it in a j-body that they were doing a install in when i was shopping around and it sounded great. the subs i have now are even in a home made box.
does anyone know anything about advent subs? cause that is what i have now. I dont really know anyhting about them but they were a freebie.
Advent is made by Audiovox, and most of the gear is for home audio. It's ok, but I still wouldn't rate it entry level. Audiovox's alarm and mobile video is good, but they don't put the money into the audio section. Your dual amp probably does 50x2 rms @ 1.5 thd. Junk it.
