My 1998 Z24 Cavalier has a weird problem.

When I hit my brakes with the car off, key out, my radio comes on. I've checked the radio wiring, all is good. Radio functions good otherwise.

My right rear tailight only lights up half-strength. Only one filament will burn inside the bulb. I've replaced the bulb and the bulb socket, no luck.

The defrost light is ALWAYS on.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm out of ideas. Car runs fine otherwise.

My only suggestion for getting started would be to try and figure out if they problems are related. I'd do that by removing the fuses for the radio/defroster/exterior lighting individually. If any pulling any one fuse seems to solve the problems for the other systems, then you can work on the theory that those systems are shorting or crossed up someplace.
