I installed a pioneer avh p6500 dvd head unit. The problem is, is when ever i set my presets and then turn the car off and turn it back on i lose the presets and have to reset them time after time. Could it be that i hooked the yellow constant wire worng. Let me know what youguys think before I tear it all back apart

Yes, you must have hooked up the constant to a +12v that is switched through the ignition. You need a =12v source that is hot all the time.

yellow is constant red is the switched 12v

and in our cars orange/blk is constant, yellow is switched
