I was looking at this monitor, and it has an audio/video end on it that I'm not familiar with....
looks like it would require power or something?
Here's the monitor

and here's the back picture
Is there some sort of adapter that will convert it to the conventional video "yellow" cable, that I could run to an amplifier such as this?
I'm only requiring video to input into this monitor.
thanks in advance.
Guess I should have mentioned I know the adapter would require power to turn the monitor on....
and if there's another type of video splitter box will accept this type of cable that you know of... please post it up!
looks like an s-video cable to me.

yup!
click sig for my car audio videos
I wired one before. If you take the insulation off youll see 4 wires I think. Red and black are power and ground The other two are for video input. Just wire fused power to the red and the black to a chassis ground and a video RCA (the yellow ones) to one of the other wires. Thats what I did and it worked fine.
Edit2: Just tap the turn signal fuse for power so itll go off with the car.

Uh, that's a din plug, and there's usually a female that plugs into that for the power and RCAs.
