So I've scratched the idea of the RKSport box and every other custom box. I really like the photos and cars I have seen with the subwoofers built right into the wheel well in the trunk? then they just attached the amp to the backseat like normal. How is this done? Do i just cut holes in the wheel well and then fit the sub in and screw it in? THen run the wires from inside the carpet to the amp? is it really that simple? has anyone done it to give me detailed instructions?

Fiberglass my friend. Fiberglass and patience. Remove the wheel well cover, the wheel, and cut off the tire bracket then glass the entire well. I don't have detailed instructions considering I've never done if before, but there are tons of places with instructions. Try some google. It's pretty tight....
way too much work than i thought. thanks.

subs? in a wheel well?
...wont like the tire hit the sub when u drive,
go around corners, and like hit bumps???
can u post up some of these pictures u have seen?
People don't keep the tire. They cut out the bracket that hold the tire in, remove spare, and glass the area.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

ohh, the spare tire! lol, i saw wheel well, an thought he was talking about the
tubbed area that the actual stuts are like bolted into, that the actual wheel
you drive on is at!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha, that would be impossible!
/facepalm

Justin, in all honesty, if I have time I can give you any kind of crash courses in audio that you might need... It seems like your threads have questions about pricing and what it takes to do things that might be a bit beyond your comprehension at first. If you thought you could mount the sub in the spare tire lid flush and just run it sitting there, without an enclosure, it leads me to believe you don't have the best grasp on all the in car audio concepts to begin with.
I am NOT putting you down, there is nothing wrong with just not understanding something you don't have a lot of experience in, so like I said, if you have ANY car audio questions, be it general, technical, or theory, let me know. If I have time, I can help you get into the hobby with the best foot forward as possible.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Haha! Oh that's great. Would actually be pretty tight to put it in the actual wheel well. Would give for a true "wtf?" factor. Kinda like monitors in the mudflaps, which can be done as well.

FGing really isn't as bad as you might think it is.
sanding is the worst part, but if you keep things within the spare tire well there should very little to sand

i woke my son up i was laughing so loud. man thats some good stuff.
something like this is what i was looking for.

anyone know how to do that for me, id want teh amp can just be screwed in the middle of the car without the glass, but the subs like flush to teh carpet is what i meant. thanks
"What we do in life, echoes in eternity"
i think, basically, what you're looking for is a false floor.
they're always a great idea, they keep a clean look, very functional and make good use of the space in the trunk.
Check out my build thread!
whereabouts do i find this "FALSE FLOOR"?
"What we do in life, echoes in eternity"
it's not something you find, it's something you build.
unless you go with a pair of 10s, or a single 12 with relatively shallow mounting depths, you probably won't have the space to build an enclosure that is flush with the factory trunk floor AND have amps installed flush as well. .
putting a pair of 12s (or 10s) with an amp between them is too wide for the spare tire well. a false floor is just another name for a trunk floor that is built above the existing factory floor. most people build them out of MDF cut to the shape of the trunk floor, with the new floor 1-2-3-4 inches above the stock trunk floor. if you cover it in matching carpet it gives the impression that everything is stock and mounted flush, yet you have the room you create underneith it to install subs and amps.

yeah i researched the false floor and i dont think its what i am looking for. i would go with a pair of tens, but how do you find boxes that are that shallow?
"What we do in life, echoes in eternity"
or get a shop to build you one with fiberglass. be warned, shop rates aren't cheap.
