HELP!! no high beams or turn signals
Sunday, November 08, 2009 7:27 AM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It just started this AM. I did the 99 cav front swap on my 99 sunfire. All plug and play. When i turn my signals on it turns the 4 way flashers on. When i turn high beams on, the lights stay on low/ the 4 front and rear turn signals stay on constant/ and the odomotere goes blank. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds like a bad combination switch.... replacements are usually pretty cheap at the wrecking yards.

how is it plug and play when you have to wire rewire the headlight considering the Fire is a singe bulb headlight and the Cav is a two bulb? Sounds like you did wire it right to me.

i just had a similar issue under your battery tray you have a ground wire bglock looks like a relay it has a 10mm bolt holding it in place the wires to this get rotted out and will lose ground
